ABOUT US

Established in August 2000 to grow Food & Beverage brands globally and in emerging markets on an export “beachhead” basis, the company initially focused on Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA region).

Set up by Partners and Managers with an aim to be “at the right place at the right time,” we leveraged our core competence in making things happen in these dynamic high-growth emerging markets.

EXPAND INTERNATIONAL pioneered exports for global FMCG brands in difficult markets of Eastern Europe and Russia following the collapse of the Soviet Union and in the emerging markets of West Africa.

Our track record includes orchestrating successful entries in target markets for brands such as Pringles, Campbell’s, De Cecco, Twinings, WASA and Hershey’s in Russia and Thai Kitchen in Europe and Vitamilk in Africa.

Once markets and brands are mature enough to be handled locally, Expand International transitions from building the clients brands to developing and building new brands on a joint venture or start-up basis.

For this alternative strategy, Expand International set up affiliates in selected markets, specifically, in three separate geographies of UK for Western Europe, Ghana for Western Africa and Thailand for Asia.  With this presence, Expand International is well positioned to react in time to market trends and gaps by identifying white spaces in product categories and distribution sales channels.
